The Reception

We are excited to invite all of our guests to attend a dinner reception with dancing at The Gateway Club in downtown Waynesville after the ceremony. The reception will take place from approximately 7 until 11 pm. Directions will also be provided at the ceremony.


Directions from The Francis Mill:

Turn RIGHT out of the field (where you are parked) onto Pigeon Road/US-276. You will follow this road for 2.2 miles.

Turn RIGHT at Church Street. The Gateway Club is located at 37 Church Street, on the left. We are able to use the First Baptist Church of Waynesville parking lot.

The Ceremony

Old Francis Mill

We are so excited to share a part of my (Abby's) family history with all of you on our wedding day. My Great-Great-Great Grandfather William Francis built the mill in 1887. My aunt, Tanna Timbes, has worked diligently with the help of family and friends to restore the mill to working condition. Today, it is fully operational and open to the public.

The ceremony will take place on a stage right beside the mill. After the " I dos" are said, we would love to have everyone take the opportunity to tour the mill and see the wheel turn.

We can't wait to share our big day with you!

We have had several requests for information about lodging for the weekend. We have blocked rooms at two different hotels for the weekend.
